ADMISSION: FREE (At least 16 years of age as of this year. [Pokemon Masters Division])

NOTICE: This tournament has a round every two days.  Once paired, you have one day to contact your opponent(s) via the tournament system to exchange information and to arrange a time to meet.  Remember to include the tournament organizer as a recipient of the message so that they can monitor responses.  Report your results to the tournament system, else let a tournament staff member know that your opponent did not respond to your challenge by the end of the round.  Afterwards, if you find that you have been paired with your next round opponent(s), feel free to proceed and repeat the process.  Pokemon players need to remember to save your battle videos as you may be asked for their codes as a means of performing team checks.

REQUIREMENTS: For Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Brothers Wii U, a Nintendo Wii U console, a GameCube, Wii or Wii U controller and a copy of the video game(s).  For Pokemon, a Nintendo 2DS/3DS console and a copy of the Pokemon X, Y, Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire video game.  For Super Smash Brothers 3DS, a Nintendo 2DS/3DS console and a copy of the video game.

DISCLAIMER: If applicable and prior to participation to ensure fairness and to reduce the chance of malfunctions during the event, remember to update the console(s) and the games(s) with the most recently available patch(es).  Also remember to fully charge and/or have fresh batteries in the console and/or controller as electrical outlet and additional battery availability may be limited.

MK8 DETAILS: Swiss rounds & standard rules - Choose a circuit, all items set to medium and no computer controlled players. Conducted via Internet connection.

POKEMON RULES: Single elimination, standard format (legal/modified-VGC), double battle, six (6) different Pokemon placed in the Battle Box, two (2) Pokemon cannot hold the same named item and no legendary Pokemon.  These are level 50 Flat Battles with Normal Rules.  Can use only Hoenn/Kalos bred and caught Pokemon shown in the Hoenn/Kalos Pokedexes and conducted via the Pokemon Search System Internet connection.  Best two (2) out of three (3) games per round.

POKEMON DETAILS: For this event to be officially sanctioned so that participants may receive a play point; there must be at least eight registered participants.  New participants will be issued a player identification number.
